Teeth and Partying

Okay, so I've checked my hospital appointment. On 27th August I'm having two wisdom teeth forcibly removed from my head whilst under a general anaesthetic. Do you think I'm likely to be in a fit state by that weekend to do this barbecue thing?

How does 27th July sound for a barbecue, then? Anything clashing with that for everyone?

Ooh, market!

I went into town (actually, these days it's "the city", isn't it?) to buy a birthday present for my neice. I bought her a football kit and some nail decorations having conferred with ang_grrr on what's hot with seven year olds these days.

Upon arrival, though, I found a big market going on. All these stalls with goods from the continent and so much of it food! So I came away with five different types of honey, some parma ham and some french bread. Then I bought a Simpsons poster at Woolworths and a chicken and some cordial at Iceland.

Then I walked all the way home and realised I forgot to get any wrapping paper. I really shouldn't be allowed out with money.

I did, however, resist the many assorted dried sausages that were on offer. They looked interesting but at three quid each for something shrivelled and mysterious I decided not to bother.

Simple Buffy Question

Can someone with Sky confirm whether or not this week's trailer for Thursday's episode is utterly spoiler ridden? Twice I've nearly seen it now. First time I switched off, second time I closed my eyes, put my fingers in my ears and counted out loud to drown out the sound. Am I right to be this wary or is it reasonably innocuous stuff shown in the trailer?

Oh, and please be careful with the answers - 'avoid' or 'relax' is what I'm looking for, not "Well it shows a scene where X does Y..."
