Darts

I'm really not very good at darts. I'd not played before until a few months ago when I gave it a try while out with cdave. I wasn't very good but I was improving. My first dart would fly wild but with the next two I could correct the mistakes and get closer to my target.

Last night I went out with adelheid and cdave and discovered I've managed to get worse at darts. Now I can't correct the errors as well as I could the first time around. I was bad.

I was really bad.

I was stabbed-myself-in-the-chest bad.

There was blood and everything.

(well only a drop)
(and it wasn't throwing that did it, it was pulling it out of the blackboard dartboard)

It was a good game though, and Max was within one shot of winning. When she was focussing on getting the double 11 rather than the bull, she did manage to get a tighter cluster of darts. I think it was just concentration. The three of us were more chatty, than the two of us.

It's not a proper game of darts until someone loses an eye. Or something like that.

I couldn't correct anything at all - I tried, but they'd just drift off further. Any decent shots were entirely down to luck.
