- bought a Fitbit (http://www.fitbit.com)
- went for a walk in the snow
- semi-trained baby rats to come to the side of the cage to be fed treats

I watched two films and cooked two new dishes. The films were the Eastwood western Two Mules for Sister Sara and the Ealing tribute to music hall, Champagne Charlie. The dishes were garlic prawns and crumbed fried cauliflower.

I also met with my brothers in a tea-shop this afternoon.

- Visited friends and family and hosted some grandchild-snuggling on my mother's birthday.
- Went 10 pin bowling with friends, I came second to last.
- Cooked dinner for friends, ate yummy leftovers for brunch the following day.
- Went to a spa/health club with a friend, had a massage, facial, swim and hot tub then had a pub lunch.
- Had my hair cut for what turns out to be the first time in 9 months.
- Purchased and set up an ipod-based kitchen 'Hi-Fi' and also an ipod dock for my main system, so that I can utilise 16gb worth of music sorted by smart playlists.
- Bought 4 new books (2 on Kindle, 2 in physical paperback form) and read 2 of them.
- Played OCD amounts of one of my PC games ('Storm in a Teacup').
- Laughed at my cats missing easy jumps and falling off things.

I've been getting up at 5.30am every morning this week in order to catch up on some reading. It's been quiet successful, too.
