Thanks to flickgc I'm getting a new lodger. Not only is it happening, but I'm feeling very positive about the whole thing, she's the right *sort* of person. I'm not sure how often she's on LJ these days, but she've over there: risby.

So... the lodger didn't work out. It really didn't work out in a pretty monumental way.
